Or not, depending on what you have come to Maine for, and the weather, and your age, and so forth. But after wrestling with the Internet and various devices, I finally managed to get Roku working in the Bunkhouse. It is presently connected upstairs, but it can easily come down for grownups.
A necessary concomitant is that the range extender is now working well there and so the Internet is alive throughout the bunkhouse with a strong signal.
Sorry, forgot the nerd alert!
Who is Roku? The next Korean dictator?? And why are you letting him hang out in the bunkhouse? Does he know how to use the toilet? I hope he is gone when we get there...
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when I forget to start with 'Nerd Alert.' ROKU stands for Raunchy Orifice-Kissing Unit and it will always be there for guests who require its services.
ReplyDeleteWell, it may be newfangled and all (and rumor has it even provides video!)...but... there is nothing like listening to shortwave on a clear night in Maine, or even, WOR from NYC, hoping for echoes of Jean Shepard stories from the past...
ReplyDeleteNo doubt the young among us will deeply appreciate ROKU (and will know what to do with it). The rest will rejoice in a strong internet signal....
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, and all other vacationers' benefits.
