This morning I was alone on the trail up Higgins Mountain. This has become my favorite hike, and today the colors were resplendent. Any way to escape, even for an hour, the horror that is our national scene is a blessing. We were planning to go to the Azores for election week, but of course COVID-19 got out of hand and we who are stained by Trump are not welcome in Europe. So we'll have to find some way to avoid election night, anyway.
I need to visit Higgins! Perhaps one week we will meet you at Hedgehog (after which you may conveniently run over to Buck's for takeout), and the next we will join you at Higgins...? Email me. ;-)

ReplyDeleteWell, not worth your time to fix. I like coming here every few weeks to read what you have shared. I hope you will continue. I do believe that if others were able to subscribe and there were a blog alert for new blog posts that hit our email inboxes, readership would go up!
