Ice Out

Today the icebreakers broke up ice upriver and by noon there were once again big chunks in the river. However, as the temperature was heading to sixty, it seemed unlikely that they would last long.
What a winter. Dick Elwell told me, "I'm 74 years old and I never seen anythin' like this winter." I believe it.
So we brought out the Weber and cooked hot dogs for lunch in the brilliant sunshine.
