Overdue Upgrade

We have a ramp and float! This morning Herb Freeman's crew came and in an hour they revolutionized our waterfront. The picture shows Koofis Isl. at left rear. The ramp comes off a rock to the right of where we sit. The float is 8X12 and beautifully made.
The plan is to put the Whaler there as a tender.
Soon it will be boating season...

    What a beauty! This essential addition to the property and waterfront will add years of enjoyment for all hands, as Unc Dave would say. Well, maybe not in this case. I am excited for my babe to discover the Kennebec in a more civilized manner, as s/he won't have that luxury on Lower Flying Point.

    Recalling with great shame how I couldn't hoist myself into the dingy down in the BVI, I am imagining myself flopping onto the float like an elephant seal and it is not a pretty picture. I guess some people just don't have enough to worry about.
