Double bonus

What a treat to see the world through the eyes of an almost-six boy. We had Jonas for the day yesterday, it being school vacation week, and the weather was glorious. So: sticks hurled into the river, exploration of Porcupine Path, frisbee golf with a few new rules, planting of Papa's terrace garden, about a thousand pitches, a new type of croquet.... as well, a few games indoors and fabulous construction with Tinkertoys. A lovely day.
Now it is farewell to summer for a while but hello to spring.
